98 brake question

I need to do the brakes on my accord its a 98 lx v6.. for the front can i just use a c clamp to compress the caliper? can i also do this for the rear or do i have to rent that tool from autozone? any tips would be nice havnt done this stuff for awile.. thanks

on one of them you have to turn the piston to get it to go in...they make special tools to do it with but you can just use a big screw driver if it isn't stuck too bad

oh yea thats right..... i believe i used a pair of needle nose pliers... good lookin out

+1.... also, for the front, u can also use a flat piece of wood along with the clamp.. it helped me out a lot cos it helped distribute the force from the clamp

thanks im just going to do the front for now.. i just wanted to know if just a c clamp will work.. thanks... anyone know about how much front rotors and pads will be from autozone?

not really sure i hate the autozone here so i dont go to it... i would rather drive 10 min out of the way to go to advance
