hello i bought my 98 honda accord ex 2.3L coupe about a month in a half ago. I recently took it to auto zone to get the error codes because i was in the process of repairing it.

Error Codes:

Replace Engine Control Module (ECM)
Definition - Code P1164 indicates the PCM detected the heated oxygen sensor 1 signal did not switch (remained? lean?) for a predetermined period of time.

P1166 - Lean A/F-11 (Bank 1 Sensor 1) Heater Circuit Malfunction.
P1167 - same as first code
P0141 - Ho2s-12 (Bank 1 Sensor 2) Heater Circuit Malfunction
P0700 - Automatic Trans axle Malfunction
P1738 - A/T (TCM) 2nd pressure Switch Circuit Malfunction
P1456 - EVAP System Leak Detected (Fuel Tank Area)

So after i got the codes i did research on the ECM because well a new one is very expensive, and then i would have to get the ECM programmed at a honda dealership which is also expensive. Some people say its not really the ECM because it rarely goes bad so it might be the o2 sensor, im not sure tho.

But yesterday i tried to turn the car on after not being on for maybe a day or two. i recently changed the battery but the weird thing is that it has absolutely NO POWER. what i mean is that when i put my key in the ignition the green key in the dash doesn't turn on, nothing turns on it doesn't crank, no lights in the dash, radio off, clock off, nothing works! Im truly baffled idk what to do i love this car because its my first car. I would love to here some feedback from anyone on what i should do or check. If worse comes to worse and i have to sell the car because of cost of repair, i will sadly do so

It could be the battery terminals are loose or the alternator fuse is out?

To get the car started again, I would check all battery cables/grounds followed by all fuses. If you try to turn on the headlights with the car off, do they turn on?

the battery terminals are not loose i took them off and put them back tightly, but i do agree with you about the battery cables because before i put my new battery i cleaned them with water and baking soda to remove the corrosion. Even though i cleaned them they are still rusty so probably giving me no connection to my battery. not to sure about the alternator fuse i need to check that, thank you for your advice!

Did you by any chance accidentally short the battery directly to ground. Like tightening the + side and your ratchet's end touched the negative side? It happens sometimes. When i would take my mid engine eg hatch for a drive the rear brace bar/ engine wall would short with my alternator if i punched it hard past a certain rpm. It would blow out i think my bigger 50A IGN fuse. Once that blew so did all my lights and everything electrical related. Not sure how different the wiring schematic for the 6GA is vs the eg. Prob very similar wiring yet more complex. Maybe your issues are similar. Either way Id always go back to the most previous thing/s i did before an issue occured. its always 90% that

If they don't come on at all, that means nothing is getting power. Check the main battery fuse. It will be a fuse in the underhood fuse box that doesn't look like the rest. Probably screwed down if I recall correctly.

Once you find the problem, it is almost 100% going to be a cheap, stupid easy fix.

The battery is probably not the issue, but did you test it to see if it has any power left in it? It's unlikely but possible there is something in the car that's using power even when it's off.
