So I'm stuck driving my dads 350z for a one or a couple weeks... I know it's a Z, but It's not my Accord. I dropped off my Accord today for Another Rebuild. I brought it back to my trusted shop under warranty to rebuild my rebuilt tranny (if that make sense). It lasted about 40,000 miles (just shy of my 50,000 mile warranty). As of last night it was driving really rough and would downshift down to second, D4 light would blink and tranny would sputter to get the car to speed. I couldn't stand the torture I put my Accord through just getting it to the shop today (which is an hour away from my home). Talked to the man that rebuilt my tranny and he said that he will get to it on friday.. and to expect it back by next friday. I gotta say that this is literally 7 hours since I dropped it off earlier today and I'm going crazy wishing it was back at home LOL.

I love my Accord. :(

But I just thought i'd share, I guess a 6spd swap will be in the near future once I can work on scraping up all the parts.. just gotta figure out where to start.

I know what you mean. My dad was on business for a week and let me drive his new RX everyday. And after two days, I missed driving my accord haha it's just not the same. My accord is like home sweet home.

Anyways. You should start by purchasing a good 6spd tranny haha

this accord had gotten me (personally) through 5 winters and has been through 11 winters.. through high school.. now through college.. made it all the way to texas and back home to minnesota. hell it even pulled it's sorry *** out of a ditch once or twice, it has rear ended another car only to come out pretty much spotless... the memories go on!

I would take over an automatic Z over my sedan anyday.

Don't get me wrong, I love my Accord, but if I had the chance to upgrade for a week i would.

I did that when my Brother went to Miami for a week. Drove his TSX everywhere. Sure premium gas is a *****, but the ride comfort beats the accord anyday.
