You do realize that the RL wheels are probably in the +50 to +60 offset range (should be stamped "ET" on the back of the spoke)... you add those adapters, you're looking at running a +18mm wheel... they'll probably stick out pretty good from the fenders.

Yea I searched but only found people who hears "stories" of how the 4-5 adapters might fall off sending the wheels spinning away but no one saying it happened to them.

Here's the DIY lx 5 lug conversion for any 4cyc people reading this:

*sigh* still don't know the weight of the TL wheels without tires yet either. I love the look of that on our coupes but if they're as heavy as these RLs, then I might go to aftermarket wheels.

Why does the weight even matter? TL wheels are great, quality (Enkei) wheels on the cheap. If you want 15 lb. wheels you're going to spend an arm and a leg to get some that match the TL quality.

Well since I did the math, adding 7-8 lbs per wheel is like adding 200lbs or have 1-2 people riding with me all the time and slowing down the car.

I know 6thgen AV6 are slow stock compared to cars nowadays, but I'm still happy I could take my friends 06 Impreza, 01 Celica GTS, 04 RSX (nonS), ricer integ, and 02 Civic SI. Some of them are pretty close so I don't want to add a ton of weigh and be even slower.

Yea those cars are also pretty slow and basic cars too but I'm happy I'm winning among them and that makes my pride happy :)

So the real reason behind the weight issue for you is taking what small # of cars an AV6 can?

Here's some more math for you to do. You say having these wheels w/tires is going to add around 200 lbs to your overall weight. Figure out your pounds per horsepower ratio stock, and then with the new rims...and I think you'll understand what Finch and Sketch are saying when they tell you the weight of these rims is not a big deal.

It's ultimately up to you, but this weight is not going to make a big difference.

My butt dyno says my heavy *** wheels (20-25 lbs each) don't make a difference in acceleration. And those cars you listed are a cakewalk with a 5spd 4 banger... is it the Impreza WRX or just the plain 2.5?
