AEM FIC with stock injectors?

My current setup is running JDM FMU with stock fuel injectors but I was thinking to hook up one those AEM FIC to replace the FMU. Can the FIC run stock fuel injectors on 5 psi?

Remember I told you guys that I got a Chinese charger pushing 6psi that's where the FMU comes in. Truth is in NJ our emission law is so strict and I don't want to go all out on my current setup. If I do every two year I have to swap engines which I don't have time for because I'm in college now. I just want to ditch the FMU for a piggyback any thoughts?

If it is a J30A1, stock 240cc injectors will flow plenty on 5 psi and the FIC will work just fine. If it is a 4 cylinder - I don't know

I would check to make sure the FIC-6 is compatible with your engine sensors if it is a 4 cylinder. AEM MIGHT be able to confirm, but I would try forums.

Stock we run like 45psi, so no, they won't work right at 5psi.

I just had problems when the stock fpr had dropped to like 37psi.

Please distinguish if you are talking about boost or fuel pressure. If you are talking about the stock injectors able to handle 5psi of boost, sure should be fine. Fuel pressure needs to be 40-46psi (OEM spec). How high can you crank the fuel pressure beyond that for boost using an aftermarket controller/piggy back; I don't know. Shouldn't need much higher fuel pressure for 5psi of boost.
