I hope this in the right place-

this morning on my way to work i heard a rattling sound comming from my engine bay sounded like my intake hitting somthing. so when i got to work i popped the hood and looked for anything that looked out of place, checked out the intake and i noticed where the seal is to mount to the car, it has a crack in it. basically the intake is trashed now being that there is a big hole in it. i was wondering if i can run on it till next week being that i now have to spend more money to get another intake. i was wondering if anyone else has heard or had this problem? please help
it's a short ram AEM intake i looked online to see if AEM offers any warrantys but i dont have the reciept anymore and i have only had it for no more then a year.

thanks.

You could buy one of those rubber couplings and just slide it down over the hole and tighten it down. Might work.

You might be covered by their warranty. I know AEM has a lifetime warranty on their V2 intake but I'm not sure if that is just a special case. Even if there is no obvious warranty you should still contact them. If they are any bit reasonable they should replace it.

Yea my suggestion definitely won't work now that I see the picture. You probably won't have an issue since its in a difficult spot for debris or anything to get into. But you could just put some electrical tape around the hole just to prevent anything from getting in there until you get it fixed.

Oh wow, that's interesting. How long have you have your AEM intake?

I've had mine for 2 years now and so far no problems like that.
