JB Weld the piece back on.

I bought an AEM V2 used and it didn't come with the rubber mount. I called AEM to see where I could buy a new one. Instead the customer service rep asked me for my address so he could send me a bag of all the hardware that came with the intake new... free of charge! I suggest giving this a shot if anyone bought one used with out this mounting piece.

OP with the proper rubber mount installed, jb weld should hold fine.

If your going to JB Weld it back make sure you take the powder coating off & sand all around where it goes.
If you have it welded make sure they put another piece of aluminum over it, with about 2"-3" overlapping the hole in the pipe then weld on the mounting tab.

what grit sand paper do i use? im probably going to repaint the whole thing to make it look nicer after all the sanding and gluing is done haha

Some 80 grit should do it.
After you JB weld it up use some bondo to make it all look better then paint it. Don't forget to tape up the carb sticker before you paint it.
As long as you don't rush it it should turn out good.

instead of making a new thread anyone have a picture of how the mounting should be? i recived my new pipe from AEM and want to do it right so it doesnt happen again lol..
