i have an ooga and it's a pretty strait. but i don't suggest getting one because they're not safe at all. good for laughs but on the freeway you can't even hear it. i'm actually going back to my factory horns and at some time down the line i'm installing a train horn...hehe

nah mann i live in houston... all these idiots on phones and driving at the same time, i have to use my horn all teh time to keep them from hitting me.. idiots are always trying to merge into my lane and never see me for some reason.... like seriously ALWAYS....
thats why im seriously thinking of getting a LOUD *** horn :)
:rwerd:
Houston has the worst drivers in Texas. I thought Dallas was bad. I rarely use my horn in Dallas, but every trip to Houston it gets a workout. :furious:
Austin probably has the friendliest.

I've looked into Wolo and Hella but don't like their tones. Got a FIAMM instead since it sounds like a regular big American car horn. But the Fiamm instructions suck and don't want to fry anything. :skurred:

How was the installation and relay and etc?

Straightforward? I dunno where to start.

i'm not even using a relay for my horn because it doesn't draw enough power imo to need it. but for the installing it's being held in place by a crap load of zip ties and i have some speaker wires that i customized to fit the slot on the horn plug. we installed an air horn kit on my friends 240 and the relay set up was pretty simple. we just drew power from the old horn to the relay and plugged everything in according to the diagram

funny... im in the garage right now with the bumper off to start my blackhouse project and was just wondering if anyone knew of a better/louder "not rice" horn, and you're already talkin about it...

I should have my bumper off til thursday when i hope to finish the blackhouse project (I don't get home from work til like 6:30...

If anyone thinks of or finds one, let me know!

I kinda liked the idea of takin one outa a suburban or something at a junk yard - interesting...
