They don't specifically tell you to move your IAT sensor but they leave it up to you.

No problemo, you can also try using a thermoblock spacer under the Intake Manifold to slow down the heat transfer, I use it and like its performance. Definitely manages the heat much better where before it would be burning hot, it just becomes hot at worse.
