But the c-clamps are in fact being used as risers for the back of your seat brackets?

Why would you use those?

i used washers, solved the problem and don't look disasterous like that, gl matt

I needed something really strong steel and that could act as a very subtle bounce absorber so i constructed a steal bracket. I could have used washers sure, however I like the setup i have now. It was designed by me and built and it was not half assed.

Here's a crappy drawing.

There is nothing wrong with what I've done, there is no undesirable movement, very strong and stable :)

It's definitely different, that's for sure.

Just wondering, NRG doesn't make brackets for the accord?

I understand the concept now. I personally would've chosen a path with something a little more rigid, but it's you're car and if it works for you that's all that matters.

It's extremely rigid and sturdy. Thanks

I'm having a difficult time with the harness install. It has to be installed a certain way. I know all the mount points but it's a pain. I'll have to look up the Sparco video on the proper over under connector hookups

Matt, are you going to get that brace for the harness as well?

I know Andy has/had it and so did Mickey(t.blackaccord).

I have seen them on ebay, just type this in,

49" RACING SAFETY SEAT BELT HARNESS BAR/ROD HONDA ACCORD/CIVIC/INTEGRA/PRELUDE
