Ok so recently when I go outside every morning to start my car to go to school, I notice that when I turn on my headlights and operate the window switch my headlights and all other lights dim for a second then goes back to normal. Is that a sign of it going bad or is that just what happens with the 12V and voltage drop? I know this sounds like noob but I need to know.

Could be, start by cleaning the battery terminals, then come back with a dvom.

just to keep the discussion going, other than the battery, would you recommend that blackhawk tests the voltages elsewhere?

As long as your there, check battery & alternator & ground connections for voltage drop.
