I just don't think I could personally buy from any of those sites. Working at a bike just made me realize how much those online sites hurt local shops. Yes stuff at shops is more expensive, but at least you have the service.

I just get tired of people buying online to same money, and then calling our store saying something is wrong what can we do to help them haha

Yup, but as a bike shop employee between jobs, it's nice to find deals every once in a while. I've decided that I am never going go pay list price for any bike part again. Ever.

This thread is getting a sticky..I hate trying to find it.

Anywho....Since I live on a big hill the snow we got meant no driving to work for me. So that is where the mountain bike came in. AWESOME ride to work until I got onto the main roads which had become semi-slushy. So my clothing got wet and dirty..not fun

I am extremely embarrassed but my chain has started to rust. I can not believe I let that happen being a mechanic....I wanted to cry when I saw it haha
