I'm 6 foot, but that is the proper saddle height for me. Usually your saddle height is higher than you might think, especially as your flexibility increases. My saddle heigh is 79.5 centimeters, but before I got fitted I was riding at like 75 centimeters, which is way to low.

I have never really had a proper fit, which makes me wonder what mine should be at. I am 5 11 but I have some pretty long legs. I almost have the seat maxed on my fuel.

Yours is probably somewhere similar to mine, my seatpost isn't quite all the way maxed out, but its within an inch for sure. I could have probably gotten away with a 21.5 inch frame, but the standover height would have been a stretch.

Ah I def could not of gone that big. I am on a 18.5" frame with the Fuel. My first two bikes were 19.5" but I just really like the feel of a smaller frame. I guess I am technically is between both sizes. On road bikes I can easily ride a 54 or 56 in Trek frames. I am on a 56cm but I really should cut about 10-20mm on my stem length because I feel like I am somewhat stretched out but I still have my seat pretty high.

Well Im a new member but seeing as this thread is a sticky, Yes I am Biker, bikes with pedals and motors. I have a 09 specialized stumpjumper single speed with juicy brakes and a 208 big brake upgrade with a reba fork. And a 09 specialized transition for when i feel like going fast. Mabey there are a few more people in central WI on here. Im amazed on how big this thread is, I didnt know so many people still rode!

So has anybody been riding? I know I have not been. Still searching for bikes. I liked the Raleigh, but I think I am gonna have to stick with Trek, or maybe go Specialized.

My shop is picking up Raleigh very soon, so I'll keep you posted on what I think of their road bikes. I haven't been on my bike in nearly a month due to school kicking my ***, but hopefully this coming week I will be able to get out. The weather has been particularly uncooperative with rain, snow and wildly varying temperatures. Last week we had everything from 70's and sunny to severe thunderstorms to blizzard-like conditions and a low of 5 degrees. Not exactly biking compatible weather unfortunately.
