Yesterday I created a Flickr account and upload the photo link along with some attachment pics. But how do I get the actual photo in the post like other members post with photo in the middle of post?

i use photobucket for stuff that doesn't need to look pretty haha, but it's definitely easier to get the img code from photobucket. i use flickr for stuff i want to look good.

when you're on flickr, click on the picture you want to link, then in the lower right corner there are four buttons you can click on to do different things with the photo. hover over them and they'll tell you what they are. you want to click on the one that says 'share' when you hover over it...it's an arrow swiping up and to the right. so you click on that and a box comes up, you want to click on 'BBCode', then you'll see a link for the picture and a drop menu under the image link where you can choose the size the picture will display in (i usually use the smaller of the 'large' size). once you pick the size you want, the link will change to that size image, then just copy and paste the image link to where you type for replys.

Sharing an image from Flickr sounds like launching a Saturn V rocket. :lawl:

No I'm sure it's something you just get used to, I will probably make the switch since PB's new site is a PITA and the photo quality is downgraded.

Upgrade to Flickr. It's great. It's free also. You get a terabyte of memory for your pictures. Site also goes through upgrades all the time.

It's also a Yahoo company/site, so if you have a Yahoo email, you have a Flickr.

Yahoo... Haven't heard that for a while...

When I hear Yahoo I always think of this haha

Hey Rooky,

Maybe try signing up with photobucket. It's pretty easy to use. I keep forgetting which link I post that actually shows the image, but I just copy and paste and then preview. I'm pretty sure it's the third one (out of 4). Hope that helps, and on a different note, congrats on the activity award!

I have gotten so much ideas on here. And will try photo-bucket because Flickr is like breaking in a volt.:banghead: Too much steps.

Can we just get everyone to start using Imgur? Photobucket is lame because old threads that used it don't even have the pictures anymore. I'm so surprised no one on this forum uses imgur.com , it's far superior to the other's mentioned in this thread.

that's due to the user and whether they keep the images in their photobucket account or delete them or move them. nothing to do with photobucket itself...photobucket is great imo. i used them first to post pictures online and it has always been simple, you just copy and paste the img link next to the picture...definitely easier than flickr :lawl:

Haha nice. I recently got that award too! I was really active at the time a lot going on with my lights and suspension and tail lights! I agree, I am too, in fact I just bought a TL strut bar last night hehe. Good idea man! Photobucket is easy to use plus to upload just drag and drop! Once I found out which one shows the image, it's a home run from there!

Interesting input, Rare. I may check this out just for the hell of it. But photobucket is working pretty well for me right now.
