Auto tranny: I'm in the clear (for now)

I had the notorious jerk when going from P-R-and then D and when upshifting from 1st to 2nd. A D&R of Honda ATF DW-1 tranny fluid and I'm slowly getting her back into shape! A few rounds around the block and the upshift is getting much smoother. Overall, I'm the happiest camper on 6GA right now. Lol

Was yours slipping and is that fluid special or something?

Not necessarily "slipping" lets say you're late for work/school whatever and you decide to floor it, when the tranny is shifting from 1st to 2nd it would jolt so hard that it felt as if though you've been hit by another car. As for that fluid, for our auto trannys its quite possibly the best and only fluid you should EVER place into your transmission.
