so there's the rca that goes into the radio thing. then the other end goes into your phone. and then the radio thing plugs into the antenna and then the antenna into the radio thing? lol

nah..

stock antenna----adapter wire---adapter----adapter wire----radio

and

headphone in box-----RCA------adapter

plus the power bit. You just need a headphone wire from your phone to the adapter. Have the power turned -ON-, set the radio the the right frequency (the same as the adapter) and play away :p

I wanted to keep my steering wheel controls, luckily the Android thing kept it :)

I was going to hack one out of a 4-channel amp, a screen, and an old computer, but this random ebay thing is still going! It was cheaper than building one!

Real cheap...I suspect it may have been too cheap...but it's still going!

I think you know the answer. Fiberglass. Some people use ABS plastic sheet to cover the opening for the radio, then fiberglass it in place, cut a hole for the radio, then do finishing work - sand, bondo, sand, sand, sand, paint. Or you could make it all out of fiberglass, but that seems even harder.

yeah, I could, I don't want to buy one :p

I have 'leftover' plexiglass out the bum, just need to trim some and paint it (with some leftover rattle cans :D )

I did my mirror block panels this way, so far that setup cost me $3, for bolts. Everything else I had 'spare' parts for.

i wired an old xm-radio behind my head unit the under the armrest and up above the change slots i just plugged the xm-radio in behind the headunit and used a cable extender to move the input jack.then set the xm to turn on with the car and broadcast on 88.1 works great. then i renamed 88.1 on my stereo to aux so it looks legit.
