Just replaced upper and lower front ball joints 2 months ago. I hear popping, I go and try to tighten them and the nut is just spinning not tightening. I guess the threads are gone.

I used to always tighten ball joints as hard as possible... should I not? Should I follow torque specs (what are they?) OR did I just get a set of cheap ball joints?

Not for nothing but i just replaced my lowers with oem ones i mean they only cost 40 bucks for both from majestic honda so for that price i dont even see why people would go aftermarket. Also just becarefull tightening things, overtightening is the worst thing you can do because it will damage the part beyond repair. If it keeps spinning then its not tight therefore its going to make noise and is not safe to drive on.
