I've had it for about 2 months now and it's getting worst the more I notice it. Even when the volume is on 3-4 the mirror will still shake when the bass hits. I'm the person that likes the bass in the music, so having the bass lowered is not an option.

Then when the volume is up to 14-15, the whole mirror will tilt down (reminds me of the movie hollow man when he messes with the girl that just got done taking a shower) so I can't even see the rear view anymore. It gets annoying when I have to keep aligning the mirror every 5 seconds.

Even if the broadway mirror is taken out, the whole stock rear view mirror will still do the same thing, but it isn't as distorted with the broadway attached.

I thought about switching to a Wink mirror since the brackets are connected to the part where the visors are at and it will help reduce the shaking.

Also, taking off the rear view mirror is not an option because the cops here in Northern Cali will hassle you for whatever they can.

Too long to read: Does anyone with a Wink mirror or knows someone with it and has some high powered subs? Tell me how it goes and if it will work out better than the broadway.

EDIT: The sub is at JL13W7 being powered by a Alpine PDX 1.1000 if anyone is curious.

That wink mirror will eventually rattle loose, when I'm on crappy freeway pavement that thing gets annoying, i am almost sure bass will have somewhat the same effect.

Never been in a car with a Wink's mirror on it, was just wondering how it would be like with the Bass.

Thanks for the input though.

You have a 13" W7, there is nothing you can do. I had a 12W7 powered by a 1000/1 and experienced the same thing as you. Its just the cost of doing business ya know?

Hah, guess so. Atleast during city driving my car isn't turned up to annoy the crap outta the other peoples.

It's only during night/freeway driving when I get to rattle the **** out of the car.

I can only imagine what that 13 is like, the bass in my 12 made a lot of friends think they were having a heart attack when it started to thump and rumble

When friends get in the car they say it's like a back massage.

My girlfriend hates it though because it makes her hair feel like it's flying everywhere lol.

Have you tried putting something around the "ball" that the mirror moves around on? The mirror will still distort when the bass hits, but you can probably put some tape or something on the back of the mirror to hold it still. I bet you can even do something so that the mirror hold in place firmer, but still looks clean.
