Pressure washer not recommended for the engine bay, I would assume?

I'm actually surprised I haven't heard anyone say they have used one for the engine bay.

I did once, on my last car. I was at a car wash and I used the "Engine Degreaser" setting. Even with that fizzle of a spray, it just felt wrong.

Perfectly safe actually. If you're afraid that your wiring will be damaged, give it half an hour to dry off. You can claybar and/or wax it in the mean time. Engines and the stock wiring are built to be water resistant unless you suck up a puddle through the air intake. I've used a pressure washer on the engines of my last two accords and my 83 Camaro without any adverse effects.

I would be a bit concerned about it as well, but I am sure it can be done.

I definately need a good product to clean up the new engine before it goes in.

I've used it on mine and still do about 2ice a year, just do it when the engine is a bit hot and not ice cold.

I usually spray it down with degreaser, use a brush on some areas that need it, spray it down with water from a bit far away to rinse it off. Then spray it down with degreaser one more time and water again. I've used that no-rinse setting on coinops to finish it up as ive found it leaves no water marks u need to clean off the top valve cover when its all done dry. Just wax/dress the wheels and by the time you're done the bay will be dry.

Just use a bag and same tape on the fusebox, battery terminals, distributor, alternator.

^Those wheels would probably look better on your car, Tyler.
