I'm about to pick up an ebay intake and looking at a qualit filter to put in there so far I like the Fujita there on ebay for about $40 besides the AEM dryflow and K&N universal cone are there any other I should consider or that someone recommends?

a filter is a filter. its not going to make one bit of difference. i usually always get k&n though, i guess just because theyre more well known.

What is the benefit of the dryflow? I never understood the concept behind it...

you clean it and don't have to oil it. too much or too little oil causes a fail to occur.

i just buy a new one when theyre pretty dirty :lawl:

I do the same thing.

I've got a new one to put on when spring comes, maybe I'll clean the other when I take it off, and switch them every year.

That sounds like a lot of work though.
