be like it is
the number i'd be most curious about is the resistance measurement in your stock wires :lawl:

i could dim the headlights just a tad with a 60 x 4 and 300 x 1 setup with the stock electrical system :lawl: but those were inefficient amps anyway...

Our electrical system is very poor.

I believe that doing the big 3 is sufficient enough to make a noticeable difference. No matter how low or high end your system.

Big three worked for me, I'm runing about 1600 watts rms errday. By the way add the odyssey alt for an extra 25 amps if you have a V6 accord. Its cheap and easy to install. Cost me about $50 dollars and night after school.

I have a Power Acoustik 5500 watt amp with two 15" Kicker CVXs. I also have an extra Optima yellow top battery in the trunk with a capacitor. I actually have no dimming with this, but i've always wanted to do this wire upgrade. Not like it wouldn't help. $15 bucks for 6' of 1/0 gauge wire and 3 ring terminals for the ground wire upgrade. I'm not sure if I need to go ahead and get more cable+fuse for the positive - alternator connection.. Think I should?

If so, what size fuse? The alternator can put out a max of 105 amps and according to this website, it seems 1/0 gauge wire can handle a max of 120 amps.

If you have an OEM alternator then...
f23a1 does 80a
f23a4 does 90a
f23a5 does 80a
J30 does 100a

What size fuse you should use? the size that your alternator sends out at max.

Aren't Prelude alternators interchangeable?? Don't they put out like an extra 15 amps?
