black out head light question

ive smoked out a few headlights few cars here and ther ... best thing to do is not black them out but giv it a nice tight ..cops will b all over u if u blk them out and hids produce a lot of heat...more than original bulbs so tha darker tha more heat it retains... if u wanna get it dark without havnt trouble with tha poo poo...u cld do wat i do and take some clear coat and put just a little bit of black base in it and put too med wet coast ...its shinny like how ur head lights are wen they are bran new

1/3 flat black + 1/3 semi gloss + 1/3 gloss black + a hint of metallic flake and click your heals 3 times + 2 cart wheels and one 2 minute micheal jackson dance montage is the way to go.

We're talking about painting the headlight housing, not tinting the lenses. Additionally, halogens burn MUCH hotter than HID's.

i honestly use whatever black i have around in my toolbox, usually high temp black engine paint

I don't really think paint matters but ill go with the glossy high temp paint

i used high heat paint for engines anything works good
