i painted my housing black on my headlights, im wanting to keep the small amber reflector in the headlight but need to know if when people do that, do they break off that little tab on the end that connects to the other one? or just keep it like it is?

i broke off the tab too. i just used some silicone to hold it in place, but i was using clear silicone to seal up headlights so if you're using colored stuff it might show through. epoxy or anything else would work too though

yea i was just gonna use clear silicone to hold in it place. now i gotta try to actually put the damn things back together. i will take pics when they are done. what i did was paint the whole housing black, turn signal is blacked out, but i left the chrome reflector on the bottom and im using the small amber strip so. yea it looks good.
