bn, u have the 4-2-1 header rite? tht's supposed to help with the low end

and tht CEL code always pops up after a header install.. try resetting it and see if it goes away...

as for the noise, prob wait a few days for the gasket to settle in

wait am i gonna have the same problem! i hate having ANY CEL on my car it reminds me of the original motor. befor it took a sht on me if i didnt let it warm up the C E L would come on.

o2 defouler trick, it will get rid of all the o2 cell codes and trick your car. it cost maybe $4. I can post up some pics if you want to know what I'm talking about. I've been running it without a problem, minus me frying the rings on my old engine, but thats not related to the cel codes I used to blow.

Fortunately for me, I didn't get the CEL. Sux Eric. At least you know what the error code is. Yeah, I forgot about that Maxima. It was sweet.

Yeah, I was checking that out. I have a couple of things to check out first.

1) see if the secondary O2 sensor was installed. If not, that would explain the CEL code (P0141) and the whizzling sound

2) I'll try the o2 defouler trick. Amd hopefully the sound goes away.

3) check to see if the header is warped.

It's suppose to help with the torque, but ZI really notice a difference up top.
I also tried resetting the CEL and it's fine for about 30 seconds, then it comes back on.
I hate resetting it cause it erases all my radio settings. This includes,
Station settings
Names of stations
Audio levels of CD, Radio, & auxilary
Setting the bass, mids, & highs
Tuning the bass, MIds, & highs
