Blacknight vs. 5th gen V6

A friend just bought a 1997 V6 accord and wants to run with me.
I know they stock 170hp but was only available with an automatic tranny. He also has 149K miles on it. Do you think I'll take him?
The race goes down Friday, 10/28/05

I think I can take him also. Yeah, his hp is a little higher, but a lot of that is lost in the tranny, and I have a manual.
Also, he has a NON-VTEC motor whil I have VTEC
