I would try rewiring the extensions first.

Grab a roll of 18ga wire from the auto store (I like Napa's wire) and some 18-22ga "crimp n seal" butt connectors. Or "solder n seal". The connectors are NOT cheap, but well worth it. Use a good crimper too, that won't cut the insulation. Crimp, then heat the ends of the butt connector to shrink it, stop heating when the gooey sealant comes out

Denso would be the best option but will cost quite a bit more. The Bosch will work just fine but requires more work. Most people will tell you that OE or Denso is best but I (as well as others) have been runinng 2 Bosch universals for about 6mos now with no trouble.

just went to see how much a new Denso O2 sensor was nd they said 85 dollars.
i was nd then i did nd left
i didnt know they were that expensive

so im kind of a cheap basterd
i was thinkin of buying reg. butt connectors crimping the crap out of them/ putting hot glue on the ends/ electrical tape the crap out of the connection/ nd finally shrink wrap every connection.

would u guys recogmend anything else?
ima report back if it works or not but any other option would be helpfull.
nd no for right now im nt goin to buy new o2 sensors

ok so i know this thread is old as crap but instead of opening a new one im gonna post here....i've got a ULEV motor and the o2 sensor CEL came on...but my wires got depinned since i accidentally dropped my subframe with the plug connected so now i dont know which wires go where....i dont think i have a ULEV ECU...and i read that 2 of the wires on the o2 sensor are supposed to have voltage...i checked for voltage on mine and none of the 4 have any....what do i do now? first i wanna fix the repinning of the wiring so im gonna ask anybody who has a ULEV to take pix of their o2 sensor wiring on both sides....i've already tried looking for a ULEV wiring diaghram and cant find crap...

just hook the colors together? they should be 1white.1green and 2blacks..I have both my front and back 02 sensors cut and extended..no CEL or problems in past 4years..

my stock wire harness doesnt have the same color as the stock o2 sensor.....on my harness i have a black...blue....beige and i think red...didnt really take not of it yet....i've got 2 sensors and none of the colors match up...

my harness as well has those 4 colors(blue,red,etc)
just as you the connector came out.
i really need help cuz i know im running super rich right now. i think unburned gas is getting trapped in my exhaust system and making the whole car smell like s**t.
Bkz does the haynes manual not come with the ulev wiring diagram?
also i doubt i have the ulev computer, so i also need to know how to repin.
If im going to run a p28 a tuning the car do i need the O2 sensors are does the programmer disable those?

i dont have the haynes manual....i might go grab one today and see how it can help.....i dont think you can repin...i read somewhere that only the ULEV ecu will read a proper ULEV 02 sensor....not too sure about that though...shyt why cant sumbody with a ULEV just simply take a pic of their bay....
