i know its an old thread, i just spent about 4 hours extending the wires and changing with a new o2 sensor. buy the extender splicing wires will not work, i just did a perfect solder and shrinkwrap job and im still getting the codes thrown

did u do a auto to 5spd swap??
cuz u will always get the cell if u did that unless you change the relay
there is a DIY on that somewhere here
