I drive a 2001 honda accord coupe. So yesterday I noticed when I put my ebrake down my brake light was still on my dash.

So I put it up and down a couple times and it shut off.

Now this morning I had the same problem but the light wouldn't come off at all, it finally did shut off when I was driving.

My brakes are good, looks like there is brake fluid in all the right places, and I can't see any leakes, so anyone have this problem?

May need to tighten ebrake cable or the e-brake switch getting stuck

Push handle off/down
Bang on ****
When light off remove covers to see what's broke

My 01 Accord does the same thing...it's worse in the Winter time.

A Sensor in the cap/top cover of the brake fluid reservoir gets "fidgity" after a while. Sorry, but I am not sure if you can replace the brake fluid reservoir cap/top in order to prevent the brake light from doing its thing...
