Tried searching for the bulb replacement behind the 5 buttons (includes the front windshield defroster) but I couldn't really find anything on it (not sure what to use as a search string),

It's not the indicator lights above the buttons, but for the button themselves. Anyone know what the bulb is off hand? I haven't had a chance to pop open the center console yet.

There is a wedge bulb... it might b a a 194/168 bulb back there that fits into a holder tht scews to the board. found this out wen i recently did my led dash conversion. they might be smaller though... i dont remember... best way to figure it out is to just take it off.... it really isnt hard at all... takes all of 5 mins

Most of the interior bulbs are sold only by the dealership, but as kn0x47 posted T.A.S auto parts sells them. It's $5 each for the bulb, and $5.76 to ship it (to me). If it were me, I'd just go to the dealership and save shipping. :) Part #2835851 if the link below doesn't work. (upper right hand bulb on the link)

They are called neo-wedge bulbs.

Local auto parts stores do not sell them nor have they ever heard of such a thing trust me.

your honda dealer has them, or do a LED swap.

Superbright LED's and LEDautomotive both carry LED Neo-wedge bulbs.

but if you go LED plan on doing everything not just the buttons.

Thanks guys. I just need to be able to see the buttons at night. I actually prefer driving with dimmer interior lights, so no plans on switching all of them over to led just yet.

I just replaced two of mine a couple months ago. It really is easy. I get a couple photos of the bulbs I removed.
