buying an out of state car, in cali... i got questions

sup guys, im thinking about buying a CB, been wanting one for a while... i came accross one, but its registered out of state... does anybody have any experience with buying an out-of-state car in Cali? what do i have to do to register it? smog? dmv inspection? are there any extra fees?... any input is helpful. thanks.

Go to the CA DMV's website and it'll have instructions. I buy all my cars out of state, but laws are different everywhere.

i buy my cars in mass where i live becasue or the private sellers and dealers lemon laws are 30 days or 90 for dealer you get your money back or they pay for you to get a sticker if there is something wrong with it. if its not sold as is . unlike other states you snooze you loose your stuck with the car
