Buying new suspension Thursday

12/10 or 12/8 would be good. I think some can go as high as 14/12.... Someone correct that haha

The question is.. Does it eventually become to stiff to start problems?

If you want to track your car, the only suspension setup i would recommend is...

1. AMR coilover, if you can wait 6 months for a pair to be made. 12k/8k rate.
2. Koni yellow with GC sleeves with custom spring rates.
3. F&F type 2.5. 12k/8k

To be honest 14k in the front would be way too stiff, but hey some people might like it.

You can also do 10k in the rears.

Eibach only makes a 27mm for the front for us, which is the same size as stock. Unless they just came out with a new one

Anyway, our cars have a massive amount of understeer (they push in the turns). The reason we upgrade to a larger rear sway bar is to get more oversteer in the car (loosen up the rear end). Upgrading both sway bars would only negate any gains you get out of ugrading just the rear. There are plenty of options for larger rear sway bars.

There is no sense spending 300 bucks for a kit when you can get much better gains out of <150 for one bar and good endlinks.

^^29mm front sway. As to whether upgrading the front is necessary, it depends on what tires you use, as well as preference to less front suspension movement. I would also rather run matching sway bars.

As to understeer... well lets say that's what custom spring rates are designed to eliminate. I wouldn't compensate "fixing" the understeer with a rear sway, since sway bar tuning is supposed to complement a suspension tune, not "fix" it.

I've fought oversteer in my car before, so no thanks on the offer. I may get an adjustable one though.

The link was just for proof that the 29mm front bar exists. I could care less about the reputation of the company.

Also, call me skeptical, but how do you know whether or not 10/8 is too soft for track use or not?
