Ok, i've gotten everything for the 5lug conversion and came across a deal for sawblades for $300 in good condition. Now im no wheel expert but just finished my 5speed swap. The specs on the wheels are 17x8.5 front, and 17x9.5 in the rear. This car is daily driven and will be an all motor car. Just wanted your opinons on this because i love the look of the sawblades after seeing fundillos car lol. Dont wanna run some kind of crazy stretch and i know i will have to roll my fenders and possibly relocate bumper tap, not sure though and also have to get wheel adapters? What do you guys think on my SSM sedan?

At first glance i'd have said no. But looking at his car they look alright. For $300 i say go for it. You're lookingat a decent amount of stretch to fit them and make them look good though. I know how our NoVa roads can be though. some are win and others are total fail. before you decide drive your usual routes and decide if they'd be friendly for a stretched tire.

Yeah. the ones out my way are for the most part ok. Theres a few that are bad. But it's easy for me to avoid them. but the closer to the city i get the more scared i get.

I was never a fan of these rims. Not really sure what people see in them, but lots of people have them now too. Just did a Google image search for "C4 Corvette sawblades" and only one picture of the actual Vette came up. The rest were these wheels on a bunch of VW's.
