If you are running a stock ecu i would not touch the cam setting. You throw off the rest of the system. Honda put a lot of time and effort into tuning the ecu for the engine THE WAY IT WAS FROM THE FACTORY. After I/H/E your pretty much done for easy cheap HP. Think about all the factors that you are altering....and not in a good way: Valve timing, injector timing, ignition timing.
My advice to you would be not to touch the cam gear settings.
Download AEM's or MOTEC's or CROME ECU tuning software. Only then will you see what goes into properly tuning a car. There are enough parameters in there to make you wet.
