2002 accord tires have about a year on them, new lower ball joint, new tie rods, new upper arm with ball joint, original shocks and springs.

It looks like I have a VERY slight negative camber in the front, front tires are worn MUCH more on the inside edges on both sides. Took it to the local shop and they said before giving it an alignment I need to replace those 2 tires. They also claim that its not possible to adjust camber on this car (correct) and that the toe could have caused that wear pattern. How the hell can the toe wear the inside edge more than the outside? I also checked toe using the string method and its pretty even, maybe only off by a couple of 32nds of an inch.

Could it be that the springs are sagging or the shocks are old?

Any ideas?

It is simply in need of an alignment.

Toe is what wears the insides of tires the quickest, faster than having some negative camber. And eyeballing toe to within a few 32ndths of an inch is a waste of time. Just get a good proper alignment to zero out the toe and you should be good.

Sorry to hear about the tires being so bad...
