Okay.... other than gas money, you can pretty much do this trip on whatever kind of budget you want. You'll just have a different level of fun, perhaps.

If you're ocming from the NYC area (I picked Bronx) you are looking at around 700 miles roundtrip.

700 miles at 26 mpg (if you're beatin the hell out of it, lol) @ $2.75/gal = $75 for gas. Adjust your own calculations accordingly.

Hotel deal through Sagar will hopefully be ~$50 per night, staying 2 nights = $100

You can stay in a nicer hotel, or in your car, depending on budget. Your choice.

Then we have food. You have to account for meals, snacks and drinks from early Friday morning to Sunday evening. I really can't provide a good estimate for this. But for me, I'm thinking I'll average $10 a meal over the trip, and then throw in some drinks and snacks. I plan on having a damn good time drinking Friday/Saturday nights as well. I'll set aside a total of like $140 for everything. I really dont know........

So from those calculations, Justin was right on with the $300 being the low range, and $400 being the upper range if you'd drink more, or need to buy anything else during the trip. Remember car wash. :)

So yeah....... I don't know if that helped at all. But I know I got myself even more excited thinking about it.

green is not legal, you will get stopped for it and it will be taken away, but you'll probably just get a ticket. Although this will be a different story when US police find out you got a ticket for drugs :p
