the aperture is no big deal...aperture being a ratio of the focal length...you are talking about a difference of less than 2mm in the ultra wide angle range....i would rather have the larger focal length of the sigma 10-20 or this canon 10-22...most of my pics are in the mid range...and being able to go to 22mm means i don't have to switch my lenses around as much...

nice!! how much you got it for? i should be getting my 20mm today. i don't think i should get a wide-angle zoom since most of my pictures doesn't involve landscape type of pictures. mostly people picture for me. so 20mm prime should work fine for me. but i love wide-angle pictures. =]

Good stuff man, I'm wanting the Tokina 11-16 2.8 heh
+1...My friend showed that to me the other day. I take mostly indoor shots, so I think that that extra f stop would do me well. The range isn't too much of an issue. I have a 28-135 and that's usually wide enough for most things. Anything it wouldn't catch would get caught with the wide angle lens.

be like it is
where was that ^ (if you can reveal the location)?

if the hallway to the right in pic #1 was lit (like with a flash off-camera) it would be perfect to me...just my opinion :)

Natural light is better when the background is the subject IMO. Besides it adds to the element of the unknown - is it really a hallway or a dead end?
