Cant get ignition to kick in

My 96 accord lx 2.2l automatic didnt start the other day, just key turn and nothing.
I took the battery off and charged it, put it back and there was a clicking sound and now not even that. What should I do next? Ignition switch, starter switch?

Was the battery a good battery after you charged it?

It could be starter

Car still cranks with a bad ignition switch, it would just start and immediately die. Check the starter.
