It could be your trans it happen to me already at 60k and I never get on my car and do regular oil changes etc. It might be going out on you slowly, it took my car a about 2 months before the tranny took a dump on me after the 1st signs of a bad trans.

Sorry guys, I didnt think by me stating my opinion that I was being a dick. Its just my opinion thats all. I will try to keep my statements quick precise and to the point from now on. By the way, I love this site!

*Update*

Last night the CEL came on, so I went to Advance this morning and it pulled the following two codes: P0137 sensor low volts (bank 1 sensor 2), & P0136 02 sensor malfunction (bank 1 sensor 2).

Sensor 2 would be the one downstream of the cat right? Also I'm pretty sure that the emmissions warranty doesn't cover 02 sensors :( ...

Anyway, I'm relieved that it didn't pull a code for the transmission, I'm thinking that the A/F ratio was thrown off by the bad reading from the 02 causing my inability to rev beyond a certain point. Also, is there some sort of 'limp mode' that the car will go into? That could explain the lack of power...

damn sounds like you lucked out, lol.

like dre, my car acted like that right before the tranny went. i never would have thought about air sensors
