so this weekend, september 27 to be exact..i have a car show. this is my very first one since ive had a car. lol

any tips?


oh and one quick question, what are those pads you roll your tires on for like show cars. if you need more info i think dreman has it on his first pic on his intro with a blue rsx. i just need the name of those.

go to shows and dont expect to win
just have fun
meet other people

and dont be paranoid with people being around your car

haha i guess ill have to work with the paranoia of people being around my car and stuff. lol

Yeah those are usually goodies sponsor's give you to roll the car onto while you're at shows to advertise for them - I wouldn't worry about it.

Just make sure the car is really clean - interior, exterior, engine bay, inner fenderwells, wheels, tires, trunk, etc. Some shows require that you have everything opened up so you really don't want people looking at a cluttered trunk, un-vaccumed interior, and a greasy engine bay. I usually spend 5+ hours the day before a car show giving the car a complete detail to make sure it's spotless, then giving the car a quick wash the morning of the show, and a wipe-down with Quick Detail spray at the show itself.

Other than just having the car clean, have fun! It's not a big deal - like someone else mentioned don't go in expecting to win something, just enjoy yourself.
