Carbon-Fiber help !!!!!

okay so today i got my carbon fiber trunk clear coated and it looks nasty as hell !! it has like cracks everywhere and just looks wrong because its been in sun too long !!

im thinking getting it carbon wraped and getting it clear coated again? is that a good idea?

what do you guys recommend? ill post pick up 2morrow

it seems like alot of guys with carbon pieces get em clearcoated very often. every other year it seems like.

If the problem is right after you had it done, take it back and see what they say. Worst they can say is no. Usually most shops want a good name on the work they do so it is worth a shot.

if you are unhappy with the work (within reason if they messed up), they need to redo it.

and you cannot clear coat on top of the wraps. it will mess it up.

take it back it shouldn't crack right away

how much did you pay ? (asking cause i wonder if this might be a homey hook up/you get what you pay scenario)

Were the cracks present in the resin before the new clear?

ya i got a deal for 40$ for clear coat and the cracks were their before clear and after clear it just loooks worse !! so thats the prob thinking of getting it wraped but it wouldnt look as legit as real cf so im clueless

paint match it to your car, then no need to worry anymore
