Lmfao what a rip off! I'll clean your intake manifold, egr valve & passage ways, clean TB butterfly and your IACV for $250. Lol get a second opinion.

Yea, I figured that it seemed high. Same shop wanted $265 to replace the window regulator on my passenger side. I had the driver's one replaced at teh same place for less than half of that a few years ago. I guess the shop is under "new management" since then.

Would it be safe to drive on it for another week or so while I find another shop?

Or go to autozone and have them clear it with the scanner. Or buy urself a scanner. It is better than a camera:rolleyes:

way to reply to a post from 2008

as for the egr thing mine's been clogged for months and I've had the came egr insufficient flow code. You'll be fine driving on it. just might see slightly worse gas mileage. I'll be getting rid of my egr when I go boost if it still throws the code with the new IM since I'd be using the same egr. No way I'm paying for a new egr when I can just tell the computer it doesn't exist using hondata.
