he could ship the lip, but in the process the paint might crack or chip off because he would fold it in half. Unless he just wraps it in bubble wrap and ship it as is then everything will be fine, but if he were to do it this way the price of shipping will rape the buyer.

I want to keep it local only because shipping alone is going to be $90. I can't fold the lip in half because it will chip and crack the paint. The lip itself will be fine but the paint will be damaged. I have a local buyer that is interested, just waiting to hear back from him.

I'm in SD and interested in the lip. I know it's modified for an 01-02 accord, but will it still fit correctly on a 2000 sedan?

It will fit, only thing that was modified to fit the 01-02 was for the grill area. Depending on how you want it to look, you can use it as is or cut a straight line on the front upper lip area to get rid of the modified portion.
