Yeah, autozone will rent you one, you just need deposit. They don't care if you are late either.


I don't personally think you need two people for this install. I did it myself and i found it to be simple. Most of the time spent was jacking up the car, taking off the wheels and compressing the springs. The actual suspension stuff is a few bolts, some finesse, easy stuff.

Two people with two spring compressors would take no time at all. 2 people with one spring compressor wouldn't help time wise. One more person in the way.

Yes, the rear struts are where the top of the backseat is. You have to remove the black plastic cover after you remove the seats.

^^you don't have to remove the seats...just fold the seats down remove the plastic cover that is by the speakers..and the struts are there...unless sedans are different

i stripped on of the hex nuts on the stock strut and had to hack off the strut to get the hat off using only hand tools.


then i became smart and went to the shop and used the power of air

my friend broke the cotter pin thats holding the ball joint so he had to fab a small piece of metal to hold it in, took us like 5 hours and this was at 3am in the morning, i had to drive home on the highway worrying if my front suspension was going to fall apart.
