Finally figured out why i kept getting P1457 CEL code coming on. After replacing the gas cap, canister carbon filter, canister vent shut off valve, I happened to notice that #26 rubber tube was torn in half after dry rotting. Now if I had done a thorough diagnosis to begin with I would have caught this earlier. You live and you learn....
