Does it matter if I throw on CAI and full exhaust before/after I get a chip installed?

Curious because I want to get the best bang for my buck off the bat. Go for full exhaust first or Unichip?

Yes it matters. The chips are programmed for your setup. When I had mine it was set for i/p/h/e
Also it has two stages. One for pump gas and one for high octane.

I miss my unichip... Shouldn't have sold it :(

Makes that much of a difference eh? So I guess my best bet will be going for full exhaust, then CAI, then chip it? What's the approx price on the Unichip?

Hard to find a price on them in Canada.

It does make a difference but honestly I say leave it alone and just get a CAI..

I regret wasting money on the chip, pullies, headers, and exhaust.. In retrospect I could have gotten a fresh paint job or coil overs with that money..

Edit: I think I paid $200 for the chip, but that was in like 2009

Think that's all I'll need to get a noticeable pep out of the car? It's my highway vehicle I use for work, and I just want a little more go on the passing. (without the chip)

But I'd take the chip if it'll be a big time difference

I think you have some misconceptions about what you'll get from this chip.

I wouldn't call it worth it myself. You're better off with a 6 speed swap and standard bolt-ons. Coupled with a nice stance, you can't go wrong. That's my .02
