This park provides fishing lakes, comfort stations, picnicking areas, playgrounds, a nature center, an equestrian facility, trails, a multipurpose athletic complex, a military museum, soccer fields, volleyball courts, and archery, skeet, pistol and trap ranges. Tennis courts are also provided and include a pro shop. Rentals are available for boats, surreys, bikes and group area picnics. Special events include carnivals, festivals and dog shows.
HOURS: Open daily from Sunrise to Sunset.
Vehicle entry fee applies on weekends and holidays or for Special Events.

the gf recommended this place called santa fe dam. she said her group of friends had a bbq there and she loved that place. never been there yet but here goes...

This facility has a 70-acre lake for sailing, swimming and fishing. The lake is stocked with bass, trout and catfish. Other features of the park include: a popular children's water play area (open during summer), picnic areas, trails for biking and hiking, and campsites (for youth groups). Electric boats, rowboats and paddle boats are available to rent. A tackle and bait shop is also located in the park.
HOURS: Open daily from 6:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
