My understanding is that there was a PROPOSED entitlement to a brand new transmission, and they were working on financial payment from Honda if you own one of the vehicles listed.

I have a 2002 and the tranny blew arround 34k so they replaced but this one I got now even tho. is ok it does not feel strong. Anyways in case they win the lawsuit what they gonna do???

You're supposed to get a brand new (not refurbished) tranny and possibly compensation for any damages caused or replacements of a prior tranny from what I read. I'm guessing the lawsuit has been ruled on officially since some people are getting notices in the mail...

And its only 2000 and 2001 accords...
Apparently some people were "injured" by the jerky transmissions, that's what appears to have started the whole thing in the first place...
