clicking noise

just recently my car (02-v6-sedan) has started making a clicking noise, it sounds as if its coming from right in front of the driver's side under the hood. Im not sure what exactly it is, im just praying it has nothing to do with the tranny haha. Let me know if anyone can help.

its begins when i start my car and just keeps going, i opened the hood and i couldnt hear anything, but from the interior of the car you can definately hear it. its kinda buggin me out.

Does it happen during turns?
Like when you're stopped at a light, then as you go you're making a left or right turn?
If so, it's the CV joints
