Hey guys...I tried putting some leds in my manual climate control in my 2001 Accord, but it didn't work out well. This was the result:

Now I really don't want to mess around with the lighting a lot as in I don't want to do any soldering, or taking lots of stuff apart just to fix this. I'm thinking of just going to stock bulbs, but my question mainly is...is there xenon white or blue bulbs that they have that would fit in my Manual CC? Or is the only route to go leds or back to stock?

And before anyone says...yes I've searched the forum for this problem and I see people putting foil in some places? But would this help in my case as the lighting is uneven and the temperature knob not lighting up at all?

So basically are there brighter stock regular bulbs that would improve the brightness of my manual climate control, or is led the only way to go?

Thanks.

The LED bulb type matters, you want the right balance of forward and radial firing LED's. What bulbs did you use?

Ok thanks for the replies so far. And I just used bulbs I got off amazon, they were cheap from Hong Kong I believe so that's probably why I got this issue lol. I might just go back to stock or check with colored incandescent bulbs.

Yea there's a lot of cheap crappy LED's out there. Should have used SuperBrightLED's. ;)
