Weird, that's just lazy. I don't get why people think Tein is so quality. It seems like atleast 25% of the posts i read on various forums, people are not happy.

i've had both Tein SS and Omni....the quality of Tein was top notch...i would expect it to outlast the Omni...the threads and materials were all just better...

tal thats the front coil over.. thats how high it has to be to not knock.. any lower and it clunks over EVERYTHING even as little as those little tar strips they pour into cracks in the pavement

And there no adjustment on top? (i've heard of some coilovers where you can move the spring down, i don't understand how that exactly would work).

If i were you, i would just e-mail Tein with the pics and explaintion. Maybe you have the wrong springs or something weird. I have honestly been looking over your pics, looking on the net, etc, etc, racking my brain all day. I'm very confused on this one. That isn't right. I've seen 6th gens way lower on teins and i would think they would be pretty mad too.

Right now, your rear is higher than my car on PROKITS, and about the same in front. That's like less than a 1.5 inch drop, more or less.

i remember when i had my Teins all the way down....the shock would kinda have to get used to riding at a certain height...maybe if you kept it down...the shock would eventually get used to riding at a certain level and stop after a while....

cause i remember...when i had it slammed for a while...then i would jack it up...the wheel wouldn't hang down as far as it used to...and the spring would stay tight with the suspension slammed and the wheel hanging...

I don't understand Mike, but I'm 100% sure it shouldn't be doing what you're describing.

From what I read on their site you can adjust the lenght of the shock body AND the spring seat. So theoretically (depending on how it's currently adjusted) if you shortened the shock body this SHOULD make the spring sit tighter between the seat and the top mounts.

But by looking at the pics above it looks like the shock body is adjusted to the shortest setting. So I have no f-ing idea.

Is it possible they loaded the wrong springs?

and CAN you adjust the shock body at all??

no he can't....

also Mike....if you have a TL-S strut bar or soemthing like that....make sure that the bolts on the firewall (near the windshield wipers) are tight because i know those come loose like a week after you install suspension....and make clunking noises
